Shadowlands explores the realms beyond mortal life. Covenants and their associated progression add choices beyond the familiar class talent rows.
The narrative follows distinct realms and their purposes in the afterlife. Access rules and character progression changed over the expansion; a later convenience change must not be assumed for every earlier patch.
Class talents, Covenant abilities, Soulbinds and conduits have different identities and dependencies. A historical build must identify which of these systems it actually includes.
