Mage
Wrath of the Lich King
Mage treats magic as a discipline of study, control and dangerous power. Distance and careful decisions protect a lightly armored caster who can reshape an encounter.

Background
Libraries and patient practice stand behind the class’s spectacular spells. Arcane study can provide remarkable freedom, but the same power asks its practitioner to understand limits and consequences.

Combat style
Mana, movement and control work together. Choosing where to cast, when to interrupt and when to reposition is as important as deciding which offensive spell to prepare next.
Roles and trees
Arcane develops concentrated magical pressure, Fire builds around flame and critical interactions, and Frost emphasizes chilling control. Arcane Barrage, Living Bomb and Deep Freeze are distinctive options within these historical trees.
