Wrath of the Lich King

Warlock handles power others consider forbidden. Demons, curses and destructive spells become tools in a fighting style built around deliberate preparation.

Background

The class’s relationship with demonic forces places it at an uneasy distance from ordinary society. Commanding dangerous servants requires purpose and control, not simply the ability to call them into the world.

Combat style

Mana management, periodic effects and a summoned demon create overlapping responsibilities. Control abilities and support tools can matter even when the character’s main assignment is to deal damage.

Roles and trees

Affliction develops enduring harmful effects, Demonology deepens the interaction with demons and transformation, and Destruction concentrates offensive spell power. Haunt, Metamorphosis and Chaos Bolt provide recognizable deep-tree choices.

Playing this patch

This profile uses the historical Wrath trees. Metamorphosis belongs to this version of Demonology; later redesigns should not be used to replace the mechanics or talent names shown here.
