History
Mechagon’s mechagnomes descended from gnomes who pursued a society transformed by machinery. Conflict over complete mechanisation challenged that ambition, turning the question of technological progress into a struggle over freedom and personal identity.
Culture
Experimentation and mechanical improvement play a visible part in mechagnome life. Their search for a balance between living bodies and engineered parts asks how invention can serve a person without dictating who that person must become.
Origins and homeland
Mechagon is an island of workshops, machinery and the remains of ambitious industrial projects. Communities such as Rustbolt show the same inventive spirit in improvised shelters, repaired equipment and practical cooperation.
