Worgen - Mists of Pandaria Classic

History

The worgen of Gilneas were human citizens whose kingdom became afflicted by a terrible curse. Their story follows the struggle to regain control of themselves while holding on to the memories and loyalties of their former lives.

Culture

Gilnean identity combines strong independence with attachment to home, family and tradition. Living with the curse adds a constant demand for self-command, without erasing the crafts, manners and convictions that shaped their human society.

Origins and homeland

Gilneas is a kingdom of rain-darkened streets, wooded countryside and imposing stone walls. Its isolation helped preserve a distinctive culture, while its changing fortunes made the idea of home important even to those far from its borders.
