Combat style
Mana fuels a toolkit that can include ranged spells, weapon combat and healing. Totem placement adds a spatial decision, asking the player to consider where allies and enemies will actually stand.
Roles and trees
Elemental develops ranged spell damage, Enhancement strengthens melee combat, and Restoration focuses on healing. Thunderstorm, Feral Spirit and Riptide illustrate how differently the trees can develop the same class.
Playing this patch
The historical race list includes members of both factions. The calculator uses Wrath point trees and does not substitute the resource or talent systems of a later edition.
