Night Elf - Cataclysm Classic

History

The kaldorei remember an ancient civilisation whose use of magic helped bring catastrophe to Azeroth. The War of the Ancients and the struggle against the Burning Legion left them with a lasting responsibility to guard the world.

Culture

Reverence for Elune and a close relationship with nature guide many kaldorei traditions. Sentinels, spiritual leaders and keepers of the forests express different forms of service to a people with a long collective memory.

Origins and homeland

Kalimdor’s forests form the heart of kaldorei history, from sacred Mount Hyjal to the wooded reaches of Ashenvale. Their bond with these lands reaches beyond any single city and survives the upheavals of later eras.
