History
The haranir spent generations guarding hidden passages among the roots of the World Trees. Their long seclusion preserved traditions centred on a distant goddess and the hope of her return to the wild domains they protect.
Culture
A council of elders guides communities closely attuned to the living world around them. Bioluminescent patterns of body paint express individuality within a society that places great value on tradition and the safety of its people.
Origins and homeland
Harandar is a subterranean jungle where enormous fungi, luminous growths and World Tree roots shape the landscape. The Den lies at its heart, surrounded by a living environment the haranir know as both their home and their responsibility.
