Pandaren

History

The pandaren won their freedom from the mogu and built traditions that endured through centuries of seclusion. Some remained in Pandaria, while others followed a life of wandering and carried their heritage beyond its shores.

Culture

Shared meals, brewing, storytelling and disciplined practice give pandaren life its rhythm. Enjoyment and self-mastery are complementary ideals, encouraging people to appreciate ordinary moments while understanding the consequences of their emotions and actions.

Origins and homeland

Pandaria’s valleys, villages and mountain monasteries hold much of pandaren history. The Wandering Isle offers another homeland, carrying a community of travellers across the sea on the back of the great turtle Shen-zin Su.
