Races

Blood Elf

Blood Elf identity grew from the devastation of Quel’Thalas. The sin’dorei preserve a refined magical culture while rebuilding their place in the world.

Orc

Orc carries the memory of Draenor into a hard new homeland. The Horde offers a chance to build a future founded on freedom, community and honor.

Tauren

Tauren tradition joins strength with a duty to the land and its living balance. The high mesas of Mulgore give that tradition a lasting home.

Troll

Playable Troll adventurers come from the Darkspear community, whose place in the Horde grew from a struggle to survive and build a new home.

Undead

Undead adventurers belong to the Forsaken: people who escaped the Scourge and now struggle to preserve an existence the living often reject.

Draenei

Draenei bring the memory of distant worlds and a lasting commitment to the Light. Their arrival on Azeroth turns exile into the beginning of a new alliance.

Dwarf

Dwarf life is rooted in stone, craft and a restless desire to understand the past. Ironforge is both a mountain refuge and a gateway to exploration.

Gnome

Gnome ingenuity survives the loss of Gnomeregan. Exile has made every workshop a place where technical curiosity meets the determination to reclaim a home.

Human

Human communities hold together through rebuilding, diplomacy and the defense of their kingdoms. In this era, Stormwind anchors their place in the Alliance.

Night Elf

Night Elf society guards an ancient bond with the forests of Kalimdor. Its long memory connects everyday duties to conflicts that shaped Azeroth.
