History
The history of the Darkspear is one branch of a much older troll world. Their alliance with the orcs brought them into the Horde, but it did not erase the traditions or dangers that distinguish their own people.

Culture
Spiritual relationships with the loa, the skill of hunters and the work of tribal leaders give Darkspear life its character. The playable community should not be confused with every other troll nation found across Azeroth.
Origins and homeland
Durotar provides the setting for the Darkspear’s early journey in this era. Sen’jin Village and the nearby Echo Isles are central to their local story, alongside their connection to Orgrimmar.
Starting journey
The ordinary adventure begins in the Valley of Trials before moving through Durotar. The class list and racial descriptions belong to this patch, rather than later changes to the Darkspear starting experience. Death Knight starts separately.
