Tree identity

This path emphasizes a caster’s view of the battlefield. Keeping a safe position and choosing how to respond to changing spell interactions are central to its character.

In 3.3.5a this is a point tree, not the formal specialization system of later expansions. Points can be shared across the class's three trees.

Signature talents

Eclipse, Force of Nature, Typhoon and Starfall offer distinctive options. Their descriptions explain how they connect to the broader Balance spellbook.

Building for this patch

Plan mana use and supporting talents alongside the offensive path. Choosing a deep talent does not remove the need to account for movement and encounter demands.
