Tree identity

The historical tree develops two related but different ways to fight. Cat-oriented play emphasizes attacks and finishing decisions, while bear-oriented play takes responsibility for survival and enemy attention.

In 3.3.5a this is a point tree, not the formal specialization system of later expansions. Points can be shared across the class's three trees.

Mangle, Primal Gore and Berserk appear among the deeper talents. Read which form an effect supports before treating it as useful to both paths.

Building for this patch

This patch has a shared Feral Combat tree rather than later separate specializations. The calculator preserves that structure and its common point budget.
