Leatherworking
Hides, fur and scales form the basis of a leatherworking workshop. Individual patterns require particular materials, so check their lists before hunting or shopping. You develop Leatherworking by making learned items and acquiring additional patterns.
Skinning is a natural companion to Leatherworking. Together they let you supply your workshop during ordinary adventures. The pairing is optional: hides can also be bought or received from other players, leaving your second profession available for other needs.

Learn Leatherworking and your first patterns.
Gather hides through Skinning or other players; check the pattern’s additional ingredients.
Make selected items and learn further patterns suitable for your character.
