Game versionsClassic Anniversary
Historical context
WoW Classic 20th Anniversary began a fresh original-era progression journey. The ordinary PvE and PvP route later advanced to TBC Anniversary.
This entry records that earlier anniversary period. It is useful for distinguishing historical builds and access conditions from the later Outland release. The Hardcore anniversary route follows different rules.
An old anniversary build cannot silently become a TBC build after the service advances. Versioned character development remains attached to the historical ruleset in which it was created.
