Historical context
Mists of Pandaria opens a new continent and introduces Pandaren and Monk. Choosing a faction is part of the Pandaren starting journey.
Exploration, faction conflict and the consequences of unleashed emotions shape Pandaria. Monk has distinct healing, tanking and melee identities; the shared class name does not imply one resource model for every specialization.
Talent selection uses rows of alternatives rather than spending ranks across three point trees. A selection belongs to the original patch and must not be confused with Mists of Pandaria Classic.
Edition launch (EU-US) Official information ↗

Official information ↗Launch dates refer to the named region. A month or year reflects the precision supported by the source. Early access and pre-expansion updates are listed separately; the selected client may come from a later expansion patch.
