The Burning Crusade

Historical context

The Burning Crusade

The Burning Crusade takes the original game through the Dark Portal into Outland and introduces Blood Elf and Draenei as playable races.

Game context

The Alliance gains access to Shaman through Draenei, while Blood Elf brings Paladin to the Horde. Outland, flying mounts and Jewelcrafting give this period a distinct setting and progression.

Character development

Point trees extend the earlier model with different talents and ranks. Original TBC, the later Classic release and Anniversary are separate contexts; shared names never authorize silently sharing a build.
