Game versionsWotLK Classic
Historical context
Wrath of the Lich King Classic revisited Northrend within Classic progression. It is not the original 3.3.5a client used by our current WotLK atlas.
Death Knight, familiar zones and named talent trees connect the themes of these releases. Their service features, class changes and source revisions still require separate treatment.
An original WotLK build is not automatically a valid Wrath Classic build. Archived calculators may remain useful after progression moves on, provided they identify the exact rules they implement.
Classic release (EU) Official information ↗
Death Knights become available in the update preceding Wrath Classic’s launch.
Official information ↗Launch dates refer to the named region. A month or year reflects the precision supported by the source. Early access and pre-expansion updates are listed separately; the selected client may come from a later expansion patch.
