Dragonflight

Dragonflight returned to Azeroth and opened the Dragon Isles

The Dragon Isles opened at 23:00 UTC on November 28, 2022, following the earlier prepatch introduction of dracthyr Evokers.

Dragonflight launched at 23:00 UTC on November 28, 2022, or midnight on November 29 in Central Europe. After Shadowlands, adventurers returned to Azeroth and the ancestral homeland of its dragonflights.

Reworked talent trees, expanded professions and a customizable interface changed everyday play. Dracthyr Evokers and their starting experience had already arrived during the second prepatch phase. That earlier class access was a separate preparation step, not the opening of the full Dragon Isles campaign.

Season 1, Vault of the Incarnates and seasonal Mythic+ followed after launch. The November date records the expansion’s shared unlock rather than the simultaneous opening of every endgame activity.
