A reason to stop together: Camping brings professions onto the road

Crafted camp features turn a Cooking fire into a shared preparation stop, with benefits that respect existing class buffs.
Blizzard’s October 21 overview introduces Camping as a shared rest stop built around Cooking fires. A Basic Campfire supports three crafted features, with one contribution per player; upgraded fires allow more.
Useful preparation
Professions supply different utilities. Some benefits are exclusive with corresponding class buffs. Players need to sit or craft at the campsite for at least a minute to gain other players’ feature benefits.
The system fits Forever’s stated emphasis on the journey and community. Choosing a safe campsite still matters, particularly on a PvP Ruleset.
Before the next expedition
Agree on who brings each camp feature and which benefits your party needs. Different contributions offer more options than duplicates. That minute around the fire is also a useful pause to share supplies and decide where to head next.
